The Akaka Bill should be passed to allow Native Hawaiians to have a form of sovereignty similar to that of Native Americans. Hawaii should secede from the United States and once again become a sovereign nation. There should be no recognition of Hawaiian rights separate from the rights of any other United States citizens. Fewer seats on airlines will mean not as many visitors will come to the islands. Higher ticket prices will discourage visitors from coming. Less convenient flights will hurt tourism. Not much impact; the carriers were not major players in interisland or overseas travel. Not much; other airlines will pick up the slack.
