China Boat restaurant in Kahana is generally not open for lunch on Sunday, but it will sail into Mother's Day with its popular Mandarin Chinese and Japanese fare from 11:30 a.m. to 2 p.m for lunch and from 5 to 9 p.m. for dinner. It uses Hawaii meats, poultry, fresh produce and seafood and no MSG. This much-anticipated Celebration of the Arts at The Ritz-Carlton, Kapalua will fall on Mother's Day weekend this year, beginning Friday and concluding Sunday with an expansive brunch in The Terrace restaurant.
