Hawaii loses on road to Southern Cal 10-4

The University of Hawaii baseball team lost for the ninth time in 10 games, dropping a non-conference game to Southern Cal 10-4 on Tuesday at Los Angeles.

Stephen Ventimilia batted 4-for-5, Kaeo Aliviado drove in two runs and Austin Wobrock scored twice for the Rainbow Warriors (15-22).

Quintin Torres-Costa (2-2), the first of eight Hawaii pitchers, allowed an unearned run in two innings.

Kevin Swick scored three times and Jake Hernandez had three hits for the Trojans (21-17).

Kyle Twomey (2-2) pitched 1 1/3 scoreless innings for the victory.

The Rainbow Warriors will start a three-game series at Cal State Fullerton on Friday.
