Kauanoe Vanderpoel of Kamehameha Schools Maui won the boys discus and shot put titles Saturday at the Punahou Relays on Oahu.
Vanderpoel had a distance of 54 feet, 2 1/4 inches in the shot put, and a 155-1 throw in the discus.
Brooks Carillo of King Kekaulike won the girls triple jump with a distance of 34-7. Carillo also finished eighth in the long jump (15-1)

Kahili Novikoff of Hana, a member of the Kamehameha Kapalama team, won the girls shot put (40-9 1/2).
Vanderpoel's wins gave him three titles in three days - he also took first place in the discus in Thursday's Kamakea Memorial Invitational at Yamamoto Track & Field Facility in Wailuku.
King Kekaulike's Corry Brown was second in the boys high jump (6-2) on Saturday, Kayela Santiago was third in the girls long jump (15-11) and Jonalei Aguirre was eighth in the girls high jump (4-8).
Na Alii had a pair of fourth-place relay teams, in the boys 1,600 (3 minutes, 33.19 seconds) and girls 400 (51.08).
