Mamoru Wada, 84, of Wailuku, died on March 18, 2014 at Maui Memorial Medical Center in Wailuku.
Visitation will be held at 11:30am on Sat. Apr. 5, at the Wailuku Hongwanji Mission; with service at 12:30pm. Burial will follow at 2:00pm at Maui Memorial Park. The family requests no flowers and no koden.

Mr. Wada was born on March 10, 1930 in Hana, Maui.
He retired as the store manager, for 58 years, of United Auto Parts, Wailuku.
He was predeceased by his wife, Chieko Wada and siblings, Akira Wada, Sumie (Hideo) Kon, Masae (Yoshi) Yamada, Shinae (Wallace) Sakamoto, Tsukie (Raymond) Miyasato.
He is survived by sons, Gregg (Joyce) Wada, Mitchell (Michelle) Wada; grandchildren, Kylie, Dayni, and Nykki Wada; sister-in-law, Hazel Wada and many nieces and nephews.
He enjoyed spending his days off having quiet time, with Chieko, his wife of 62 years, having lunch Upcountry or at the beach; spending time with his grandchildren and was actively involved with the Kahului Lions Club.
