The University of Hawaii baseball team scored three runs in the bottom of the ninth inning to beat Alabama-Birmingham 5-4 on Thursday in the opening game of a four-game series at Les Murakami Stadium in Honolulu.
Austin Wobrock completed the game-winning rally with a bases-loaded single, and the Rainbow Warriors improved to 10-11.
Wobrock finished with two RBIs, and Marc Flores hit a solo homer and also finished with two RBIs.
Adam Lau homered for the Blazers (16-6).
Andrew Jones (1-1) earned the win despite allowing three runs in 2 1/3 innings. Matt Cooper permitted one run in 6 2/3 innings.
Thomas Lowery (2-1) took the loss.
