Rainbow Warriors end four-match skid

The University of Hawaii men's volleyball team ended a four-match losing streak with a 25-18, 25-19, 25-20 win over Pacific on Monday in Stockton, Calif.

Brook Sedore had 15 kills and a .483 hitting percentage for the Rainbow Warriors (12-10, 10-9 Mountain Pacific Sports Federation), ranked 11th in the nation by the American Volleyball Coaches Association. Taylor Averill had nine kills and a .538 percentage, while Nick West had eight kills and hit .636. Hawaii finished with a .363 percentage.

The Tigers (2-18, 1-16) got 10 kills from Tommy Carmody. Christian Franceschi added nine.

The teams are scheduled to meet again today.
