Maui Hands Gallery at 84 Hana Highway in Paia will present fine art painter Nadine Ramelb from noon to 5:30 p.m. every Wednesday in March.
Purely self-taught, Ramelb's artistic expression was inspired by the paradise of Hawaii, where she has resided for the last 27 years. Her free-form watercolor style blends and bleeds lush color applications without prepenciling. Her beautiful new scenic series is created in acrylics using her signature strokes. Call 579-9245.
At Maui Hands in Lahaina, mixed media artist Baz Maui will be in house from 4:30 to 7:30 p.m. Fridays in March. Originally from Saint Vincent and the Grenadines, he was influenced by his father, a skilled carpenter and guitar maker, and the vibrant colors and forms of Caribbean art.
