CHONBURI, Thailand (AP) - Michelle Wie of Honolulu moved into a tie for second, but fell four shots behind, in Saturday's third round of the LPGA Thailand.
Wie posted a bogey-free round of 3-under-par 69 at Siam Country Club for a 54-hole total of 7-under 209.
Anna Nordqvist was in the lead after a 5-under 67 left her at 205.
For a second straight round, Wie birdied just one of the course's four par-5 holes, the 10th. She closed with eight straight pars to finish the day tied with top-ranked Inbee Park (67).
"Couple hard pins, couple easy pins," Wie said. "Didn't really take advantage of the par 5s like I wanted to, but I can't really complain about it. Hopefully tomorrow I'll just have a lot more birdies. I really want that win, but I'm not going to put the added pressure on myself."
Nordqvist, who has led after each round, had four birdies, an eagle and a bogey Saturday. She is seeking her first LPGA Tour win since 2009.
"For me, it's a matter of keep putting myself in those positions and the win will happen eventually," Nordqvist said.
