Jonathan Hal "Jonna" Curimao, 53, of Lahaina, passed away on January 10, 2014 at his residence with Hospice care. He was born on October 28, 1960 in Wailuku.
Visitation will be held from 6 p.m. to 8 p.m. on Friday, February 7, 2014 at Maria Lanakila Church, Lahaina, Mass will begin at 7 p.m.
Visitation will resume at the church on Saturday, February 8, 2014 from 8 a.m. to 10 a.m. with a prayer service.
Following the prayer service, Jonna will be laid to rest at sea fronting Mala in Lahaina. Potluck luncheon and fellowship to follow at Wahikuli "One Way" Beach across the Lahaina Fire Station.
Jonna was a self-employed Landscaper. He was also a veteran of the Army National Guard.
He is survived by his companion, Ginney Ripp; son, Tyler Curimao; daughter, Kiana Curimao; father, Mariano Curimao; mother, Elizabeth (Herman) Edlao; brothers, Tubs Curimao, Eddie (Donna) Curimao, Bully (Patty) Curimao, George (Cheryl) Laikupu, and Clayton Cockett; sister, Makanani (Fonte) Catugal; step-siblings, Kelly, Stacy, and Greg Curimao; grandmother, Concordia Curimao; uncles, Teng Laborte, and Calistro (Lei) Cuzon; aunty, Elsie (Eddie) Hook; nieces and nephews, and grandnieces and grandnephews.
