HONOLULU (AP) - Gov. Neil Abercrombie's campaign says it raised $528,000 during the last half of 2013 toward his bid for a second term.
Abercrombie campaign officials said Friday in a report filed with the state Campaign Spending Commission that the campaign has $2.2 million cash on hand.
Campaign officials say Abercrombie has raised $3.44 million to date for the re-election campaign.
Campaign Manager William Kaneko says in a statement that the financial support is a testament to trust in Abercrombie's leadership.
State Sen. David Ige, chairman of the Senate finance committee, is challenging Abercrombie in a Democratic primary.
