Closet opens. Rebecca's Closet Resale, a "trendy second-hand store," has opened at 310 Alamaha St. in Kahului, according to an announcement and the store's Facebook page.
Its hours are 9 a.m. to 6:30 p.m. daily.

Money for taro. Kihei company Hawai'i Taro is the first Hawaii company to receive a low-interest loan from Whole Foods Market's Local Producer Loan Program, which can help the company expand its products into Whole Foods Markets on the Mainland, an announcement said.
Hawai'i Taro produces the frozen "Maui Taro Burger" made from all natural ingredients and 100 percent Hawaii- grown taro. Loan funds of $17,500 will be used to purchase new oven racks, mixers and other kitchen equipment needed to expand into Mainland Whole Foods stores.
Hawai'i Taro was founded in 1997 by Robert Mitnick.
"Our goal is to introduce taro to the world through food products and exports, which encourage sustainable agriculture and environmentally sensitive, minimal-impact development," Mitnick said.
Whole Foods Market has pledged to grant up to $25 million. To date, the program has funded approximately $10 million for more than 160 vendors' capital expenditures.

Dancing more in Wailuku. Sumek Dance is a new dance facility for students from teens to elder years, an announcement said. The studio is at 140 N. Market St., Room 202A, in Wailuku.
Classes offered include Argentine Tango, Lindy Hop, blues, Balboa, Charleston, contemporary/modern dance and others. There are also social dancing events. Beginners are welcome. There is no need to have a partner for classes or events.
Sumek Dance studio was founded and is directed by Tanya Somday-Unemori, who holds a master of fine arts degree in dance. She completed her master's at the University of Hawaii at Manoa in 2010.
She is married to Mark Unemori, who was born and raised on Maui. He is also a professional dance instructor and a full-time licensed professional electrical engineer.
Other instructors with decades of experience also teach at the studio, including some guest and visiting teachers.
Golfing digs. Although it doesn't have its own golf course, Four Seasons Resort Maui at Wailea was ranked one of the best golf hotels by Hotels.com guest rating data in 2013. The Four Seasons is near several golf courses in South Maui.
The hotel received a 4.8 rating and was ranked as an "outstanding" resort for those who love the sport, an announcement said.
Other hotels that received high ratings for golf hotels were Grand Del Mar in San Diego with a 5.0 rating and The Boulders, A Waldorf Astoria Resort in Scottsdale, Ariz., with a 4.8 rating.
Golden hotel. Conde Nast Traveler magazine has released its annual Gold List, naming Fairmont Hawai'i resorts among the world's best, an announcement said.
The Fairmont Kea Lani on Maui in Wailea and The Fairmont Orchid on the Big Island were rated on criteria including location, activities, service and guest rooms. Both resorts scored more than 90 percent by the magazine readers and were selected for the prestigious Platinum Circle, which recognizes consistency in excellence for properties that make the Gold List five years in a row.
Maui cruising. A new business, Maui Roadsters, has opened in Kihei to offer residents and visitors alike a chance to drive a professional reproduction of the 1957 Porsche 356 Speedster.
