Sedore, Ramos help Hawaii rally past Long Beach State

Brook Sedore had 24 kills and Joby Ramos had 51 assists as the University of Hawaii men's volleyball team rallied past Long Beach State 25-23, 19-25, 19-25, 27-25, 15-8 on Friday at the Stan Sheriff Center in Honolulu.

Taylor Averill added 12 kills and Sinisa Zarkovic had 11 for the Rainbow Warriors (3-2, 1-1 Mountain Pacific Sports Federation).

Hawaii, ranked No. 10 by the American Volleyball Coaches Association, scored the final two points of the fourth set on a service error and hitting error.

In the fifth set, the Rainbow Warriors went on a 4-0 run for a 12-7 lead.

Taylor Crabb had 22 kills and Connor Olbright finished with 49 assists for the fourth-ranked 49ers (3-2, 2-2), who outhit the Rainbow Warriors .290 to .244.
