Baker, McKelvey to host talk story
State Sen. Roz Baker and state Rep. Angus McKelvey will hold a talk story to preview the 2014 legislative session from 6 to 7:30 p.m. today at the West Maui Senior Center.
"As the 2014 legislative session approaches, we cordially invite our constituents to come together to share their thoughts, concerns and issues with us," said Baker.
"This is the perfect opportunity for us to reach out to our community and work together for the common goal of making Maui an even better place to live, work and play," said McKelvey.

Closures announced for county roads
Road repairs this week will bring lane closures in both directions on Haleakala Highway between Kula Highway and Pulehuiki Road, the state Department of Transportation announced.
The lane closures will happen from 8:30 a.m. to 3 p.m. today through Friday.
Also, ongoing repairs to a section of Honoapiilani Highway undermined by ocean erosion in front of Launiupoko Park will continue to shift the lanes mauka between Front Street and Kai Hele Ku Street, the department said.
Speed limits are reduced in the work area, and motorists should expect delays and follow all traffic directions.
Man's body found at storage facility
The body of a homeless man was found Sunday morning in a Wailuku storage facility, according to Maui police.
Officers responded to a call at 11:39 a.m. and found a lifeless 48-year-old Caucasian man, according to Lt. William Juan. A preliminary investigation found no foul play, pending autopsy results.
Police were withholding the man's name Sunday until family members could be notified.
