January 4, 2014
The Maui News
Willie Nelson, a part-time Maui resident, sings “Roll Me Up and Smoke Me When I Die” at a sold-out benefit concert Dec. 28 at the Maui Tropical Plantation. Lily Meola, also from Maui, opened the show and was followed by Lukas Nelson and his band, the Promise of the Real. Proceeds from the concert benefited Montessori School of Maui’s Cynthia Winans-Burns Scholarship Fund.
