Bartenders giving tips to aid family
Hula Grill Ka'anapali bartenders will be donating their tips from "Black Friday" to help defray medical expenses for a child with a heart condition and other health issues.
Alen Alik is the child of a Hula Grill employee.
"We've seen firsthand how his family struggles to support their child," said General Manager Orrin Cross. "The holidays are the ideal time to show Hula Grill's aloha spirit to people in Maui who need it most."
Funds from the bartenders' donation will assist with medical needs and travel expenses for Alen, who must travel to Oahu frequently with his family for health care.
Hula Grill is located in Whalers Village in Kaanapali.
