Santo Pacheco, 81, of Makawao, passed away on October 26, 2013. He was born on February 6, 1932 in Paia, Maui.

Services will be held on Wednesday, November 6, 2013 at Ballard Family Mortuary, with visitation at 9:00 am; services at 11:00 am; followed by 1:30 pm burial at Maui Veteran's Cemetery.

He was employed as heavy equipment operator with E.T. Ige Construction and Operators Engineers Union, Local 3 and was also self-employed as a heavy equipment operator.

He is survived by his brothers, Manuel (Joann) Pacheco of California and Daniel (Karen) Pacheco of Kihei; sisters, Frances "Sica" (James) Felicano of Kihei, Nancy Moniz and Marie Gonsalves, both of Wailuku; 2 god-children, Chiree Pacheco Souza and Charelene Perry Nakaooka; plus numerous nephews and nieces.

He was predeceased by his beloved parents, Victorio and Maria Pacheco.

He also predeceased his siblings, Antonia Pacheco Torres, Bessie Pacheco Perry, Tony Pacheco, Lawrence "Flodio" Pacheco, Sr., Joseph "Jose" Pacheco,Sr., John Pacheco, Henry Pacheco of Honolulu, Henry Pacheco of Maui, David Pacheco, Sr., and Richard Pacheco, Sr.

Santo had a passion for Puerto Rican music and played with his brother David's orchestra.
