Seabury Hall’s Dakota Grossman (left) and Jenna Loesberg return home Friday afternoon after claiming the state Division II cross country team championship for the second consecutive year earlier in the day on Kauai. They are holding the team championship trophy. Grossman took the individual state title for a historic fourth straight year, becoming just the second Hawaii boy or girl to accomplish the feat, and the first to do it all on 3-mile courses. The senior also won her eighth individual state gold medal — the most ever by a Maui Interscholastic League athlete. The team was greeted by well-wishers at Kahului Airport upon its return.
