Lahaina resident Athena Medina represented Hawaii in the first "Hub Halloween Bash," a nationwide costume competition on the Hub Network tailored to children and their families.
Medina wore a costume titled "Phoenix Warrior."
Winners were selected for various prizes, including "The Jackie," a jack-o'-lantern inspired official award of the bash.

The contest will air on the Hub Network (Channel 335) on Saturday at 2 p.m. and 5 p.m. and on Oct. 31.
