EVIAN-LES-BAINS, France (AP) - Michelle Wie of Honolulu shot a 3-under-par 68 on Friday and trailed by three shots after the rain-delayed opening round of the Evian Championship, the fifth and final major of the LPGA Tour season.
Mika Miyazato opened with a 65.
The tournament was shortened to 54 holes after Thursday's scheduled play at Evian Resort was washed out.
Suzann Pettersen bogeyed the last hole to fall one shot behind, along with Se Ri Pak and Sandra Gal.
Inbee Park, who is trying to become the first professional to win four majors in a season, double bogeyed the second hole on the way to a 74.
