FIRST PHOTO: Volunteers pitch in to help a Kahului family beset by medical issues revitalize its home Friday during a Habitat for Humanity Maui Build-a-thon. Habitat Executive Director Sherri Dodson said more than 60 people volunteered to help on the first day of a two-day effort to repair the home from top to bottom. "I'm humbled as usual that so many people are willing to give up their time and talents to help a family in need," she said. The family will be brought home for the "reveal" later today, she added. Habitat for Humanity Maui also donated three air conditioners to keep the home cool.
