Segal to lead Yom Kippur services today
Rabbi Natan Segal, rabbi emeritus of the Shul of Marin County, Calif., will lead Yom Kippur services beginning at 6:30 p.m. today at a north shore estate, according to an announcement.
Services will continue at 3:30 p.m. Saturday at Unity Church of Maui at 483 S. High St. in Wailuku.
For the location of tonight's services, contact Bonnie Newman at 283-0645 or Bonnienewman101@gmail.com. The services are open to everyone, regardless of faith or religion, the announcement said. Donations, or "love offerings," will be requested.
Segal is a "gifted vocalist/cantor and multiinstrumentalist" who will share prayer-filled music, accompanied by his daughter, Zoe, and Matt Oestreicher.
The services include music, melody, prayers of attention and intention, quietness, listening, inspiration, gratitude and thanksgiving.

Calvary Chapel South Maui to host sale
Calvary Chapel South Maui will hold a rummage sale from 7 a.m. to noon Saturday.
Money raised during the event will support a group traveling to Nepal to deliver water filters and hold medical clinics high in the Himalayas.
