It's time once again for the Maui Academy of Performing Arts' 25th annual Garden Party from 1 to 5 p.m. Sunday on the stately lawn of the Yokouchi family estate in Wailuku.
A perennial favorite, this year's event is the Silver Anniversary, and it features a host of new restaurants an array of artists, a vintage car and motorcycle display and indulgent mini spa services to be provided by Kapalua Spa.
"The Garden Party is one of our favorite events of the year!" says Dana Pastula, chef-owner of Cafe O'Lei at the Dunes.
Mini fresh ahi poke tacos were garnished with avocado and lime by Monkeypod Kitchen at last year’s fundraiser.
