The Maui News
Maui Electric Co. employees Merle Minami-Shima (left) and Farron Cabral help a customer at the utility’s annual rummage sale on June 15. Proceeds from the event went to support Maui United Way. The event raised $1,600 and featured the sale of household goods, clothes, floral arrangements and furniture. Maui United Way supports 34 health and human services agencies and 36 programs countywide. Remaining sale items were donated to Big Brothers Big Sisters of Maui.
