UH lets go of offensive coordinator

August 3, 2013
The Associated Press

HONOLULU (AP) - University of Hawaii football coach Norm Chow said Friday that offensive coordinator Aaron Price has been dismissed from the program.

Chow announced the decision at the start of fall practice, but did not give details or a reason.

"This was a difficult decision to make and the timing is unfortunate as we begin fall camp," Chow said. "Some issues have arisen and we've chosen to move forward without Aaron."

Price had been with the team since February, serving as offensive coordinator and wide receivers coach. A release from the UH athletic department said Chow likely won't fill the position this year.
