Wailuku Federal Credit Union held a groundbreaking ceremony June 10 at its new location in the Maui Lani Village Center.
"We have a proud history of serving the Wailuku community for the last 58 years," said Craig Kinoshita, chief executive officer. "The new location enables us to continue that tradition while expanding the benefits and services we offer to our members."
The 5,335-square-foot space will nearly double the size of the branch from its current location on North Market Street, which is for sale.
Craig Kinoshita, CEO (from left); Joseph Toma, chairman; Bob Yonahara, secretary; Todd Hondo, vice chairman; Stanley Okamoto, director; Rosie Gomes, treasurer; Rose Brown, supervisory committee chairwoman; and Kathy Texeira of the supervisory committee break ground for the new location of the Wailuku Federal Credit Union in the Maui Lani Village Center.
The new location is scheduled to be completed in March.
