It's refreshing to drive on Wells Street and no longer see the Old Wailuku Post Office, which was unused for decades.
While the old building could have been renovated, the county was right to demolish it. I wouldn't want to work in a building with asbestos or lead. You can clean it up all you want, but I and many others would never step foot in there.
Instead of the political bickering over semantics, let's move forward and proceed with building a county campus that will prevent us taxpayers from paying exorbitant amounts of rent like how we have been for many years as a result of the previous council refusing to purchase One Main Plaza.
