Bookstore seeks friendly volunteers to ring up purchases, stock shelves

Books are moving off the shelves rapidly, with more than 28,000 sold by the Maui Friends of the Library bookstore in Queen Ka'ahamanu Center since its opening last fall, but the group is badly in need of volunteer booksellers, said co-manager Joyce Mandracken.
