UH baseball loses at Fresno State

The University of Hawaii baseball team rallied late but fell short in an 8-6 loss to Fresno State on Tuesday at Fresno, Calif.

The Bulldogs (17-29) led 7-1 after six innings. The Rainbows (11-31) scored four in the seventh and one in the ninth.

Trevor Podratz went 3-for-4 with four RBIs for Hawaii. Patrick O'Rourke (0-2) allowed two runs over the first two innings.

Kevin Viers, Aaron Judge and Trent Garrison each drove in two runs for the Bulldogs. Tyler Linehan (2-7) allowed no runs over three innings.
