Filomena Dafun, 90, of Kahului, passed away on April 25, 2013.
Visitation will be 9 a.m. to 12:00 p.m. Wednesday, May 8, 2013 at Christ the King Church, with a Mass at 11 a.m. Burial will follow at 12:30 p.m. at Maui Memorial Park.
Nakamura Mortuary is assisting with the arrangements.
Mrs. Dafun was born November 18, 1922 in Ilocos Sur, Phils. She retired from Maui Pine and owned Dafun Taxi & U Drive.
She was predeceased by her husband, Castor Dafun and son, Noberto Dafun.
She is survived by son, Chester A. (Gail) Dafun; daughter, Jean A. (Paul) MacNicoll; sisters, Caletta Baybayan and Dee Walsh; grandchildren, Miki & Reefe MacNicoll; Alika, Maile, Tracy, Kekoa and Anthony Dafun; hanai grandson, Richard Nakoa; great grandchildren, Brayden & Riley Nakoa; Sheldon, Tita, Ehu, Hilinai and Pili Akina; Brysen Kainoa, Ryanne, Leile, and George Dafun; Isabella and Ezekiel MacNicoll; Tyler Dafun; great great grandchildren, Hiipoi, Tyson, and Faith Akina
