The University of Hawaii baseball team remained winless on the road after losing 5-1 to UCLA on Tuesday.

Six UCLA pitchers combined on a five-hitter. Cody Poteet (2-3) worked the first five innings for the Bruins (20-9).

Scott Squier (0-5) allowed three runs - two earned - over seven innings for the Rainbows (7-22). He gave up two hits, walked three and struck out seven.

Hawaii scored its run in the sixth on Marc Flores' single to center field, which scored Piikea Kitamura.

The Rainbows, who are 0-6 on the road, have scored three runs over their last four games.

Hawaii will play a three-game series at Cal Poly starting Friday.
