The University of Hawaii men's volleyball team fell to 1-8 on the road Friday with a 25-19, 24-26, 25-19, 25-22 loss to California Baptist in Riverside, Calif.
Sinisa Zarkovic had 13 kills for the Warriors (7-13, 6-11 Mountain Pacific Sports Federation), ranked 10th in the nation by the American Volleyball Coaches Association.
Guilherme Koepp had 16 kills for the 12th-ranked Lancers (9-11, 6-9). Freshman Rocky DeLyon, a Seabury Hall graduate, had eight kills - matching his second-best total of the season - and a .583 hitting percentage.
The teams are scheduled to meet again today.
