The University of Hawaii men's volleyball team lost in four sets to Cal State Northridge on Sunday at the Stan Sheriff Center in Honolulu, giving the Matadors wins in both ends of a two-match series at UH for the first time since 1991.
The Matadors also won in four sets on Friday, ending a 10-year road losing streak against the Warriors.
Sinisa Zarkovic had 15 kills for UH (5-12, 4-10 Mountain Pacific Sports Federation), ranked 11th in the American Volleyball Coaches Association poll.
Eighth-ranked Northridge (9-6, 7-6) got 15 kills from John Baker. Drew Staker had eight kills and a hitting percentage of .583.
Hawaii is to face Southern California at home on Friday.
