UH men lose to Cal Poly, drop to sixth in Big West

Chris Eversley scored 25 points and Reese Morgan added 10 as Cal Poly ruined Senior Night for the University of Hawaii men's basketball team 64-61 on Saturday night at the Stan Sheriff?Center in Honolulu.

The Rainbow Warriors (17-12, 10-7) dropped from third to sixth in the Big West Conference standings.

The Mustangs (15-12, 10-6) are in a three-way tie for third.

Isaac Fotu scored 17 points, Vander Joaquim had 15 points and 10 rebounds and Hauns Brereton added 13 points for Hawaii. Jace Tavita had seven assists.

It was the final home game for Joaquim, Brereton and Tavita.

The 'Bows will conclude their regular season at Cal State Northridge on Thursday, then head to the conference tournament March 14-16 at Anaheim, Calif.
