"The restaurants will be closed for business indefinitely, due to economic and financial reasons," says Alisha dos Santos, communications manager. "We sincerely regret the impact this has had on our guests and our family of team members. There are no plans to re-open the restaurants on Maui at this time."
We also hear Cafe 808 in Waikapu is no longer open.

It was "bottom's up" at On The Rocks at Four Seasons Resort Maui Friday, a super fun and tasty party under the stars. We spotted restaurateur Marco Defanis of Marco's Grill & Deli in Kahului there, having a good time tasting and sipping and enjoying the music.
"I'm very sad that my longtime general manager Sandy Szymanski resigned due to family obligations," confessed Marco. "But Rocco Russomanno, who's been with us for 10 years, has graciously stepped up to accept the position of general manager.
"And, we're still getting a tons of compliments on the new look, dishes and the plateware at Marco's."
