The University of Hawaii baseball team was swept in its four-game season-opening series against Oregon, with the Ducks taking the finale 4-2 on Monday at Les Murakami Stadium in Honolulu.
J.J. Altobelli was 3-for-4 with two RBIs for the Ducks, ranked sixth in the USA Today coaches poll. Altobelli had a run-scoring single in a three-run fifth inning.
Austin Wobrock was 3-for-3 with a double for UH, which had not been 0-4 since 2004.
Jordan Spencer (1-0) earned the win in relief. Jimmie Sherfy pitched a scoreless ninth to earn his second save.
Corey MacDonald (0-1) allowed four runs in 5 2/3 innings. Andrew Jones and Jon Flinn combined to allow two baserunners the rest of the way.
Hawaii will begin a four-game series at home against No. 17 Rice on Friday.
