Masako Takamiya, 99, of Wailuku, passed away on February 2, 2013, at her home under Hospice Care. She was born on November 7, 1913 in Aiea, Hawaii.
Private family services were held.
Mrs. Takamiya was a homemaker.
She is survived by her sons, Toshio Takamiya and Shigeru (Irene) Takamiya; daughters, Hiroko (Isamu) Higa, Chiyeko (Richard) Sasaoka, Setsuko (Arthur) Fujimoto, Shirley Yoshie Warren and Helen Emi (George) Uyehara; brother, Shinyei (Haruko) Yogi; sister, Usako (Jenko) Higa; and daughter-in-law, Kimiko Takamiya; 19 grandchildren, 36 great-grandchildren and 7 great-great grandchildren.
