Molina’s late 3-pointer propels Pine Lads to final

Jestonie Molina hit a go-ahead 3-pointer with 3.5 seconds left as Lanai beat Molokai 62-60 in the semifinals of the Maui Interscholastic League Division II boys basketball tournament on Thursday at Lahaina Civic Center.

Molina, who made five 3-pointers, and Jayvee Llamelo both scored 17 points for the Pine Lads (5-8).

Paka Adolpho scored 23 points, Oli Falealii added 17 and David Rapanot had 16 for the Farmers (7-6).

* SEABURY HALL 57, ST. ANTHONY 36: Kaleb Palmer scored 17 points and Max DeLyon added 10 for the Spartans (12-1) in a D-II semifinal.

Preston Masanda scored 15 and Micah Van Alstine added 14 for the Trojans (2-11).

* KING KEKAULIKE 41, KAMEHAMEHA MAUI 28: Chase Iwata-Bartelme scored 11 of his 14 points in the first half and Gabe Gunther added 10 for Na Alii (13-0) in a D-I semifinal.

R.J. Moku scored seven points for the Warriors (5-9).
