Christian Standhardinger scored 18 points to lead five Rainbow Warriors in double-figures.
The Titans led 53-41 after Kwame Vaughn's free throw with 15:28 remaining.
Hawaii (13-9, 7-4 Big West) took a 65-64 lead on a 3-pointer by Hauns Brereton with 3:28 left.
Standhardinger iced the victory with a free throw with 9 seconds remaining, which made it 76-72.
Vander Joaquim added 15 points, Brereton and Isaac Fotu both had 13, and Spearman 11 for the 'Bows. Joaquim had 10 rebounds and Standhardinger finished with eight.
Vaughn scored 19 points, D.J. Seeley added 18 and Sammy Yeager had 17 for the Titans (11-11, 4-6).
Hawaii lost to Cal Poly, then beat UC?Santa Barbara, UC?Riverside and Cal State Fullerton on its four-game road trip.
