Mrs. Atsuko Kashiwa passed away on January 31, 2013 at Maui Memorial Medical Center at the age of 92.
She is survived by her sons, George Katsumi Kashiwa, Dean Tetsuji (Dawn) Kashiwa; daughters, Faye (Curtis) Otsuka, Yuki Lei (Takashi) Sugimura; 6 grandchildren; 5 great-grandchildren; brother, Arthur Yamagata; and sister, Tazuko Kanagawa.
Mrs. Kashiwa is the wife of the late Dr. Lester Tetsuro Kashiwa of Wailuku.
Funeral service will be held on Monday February 4, 2013 at Wailuku Hongwanji Mission at 5:00 p.m. Visitation will begin at 4:00 p.m.
