The Sustainable Living Institute of Maui and Upcountry Sustainability will present Graham Hill from 5:30 to 7 p.m. on Feb. 11 at the University of Hawaii Maui College, Room 103 of the Kalama building.

His presentation is titled "Life Edited: Can Having Less Stuff, in Less Room, Lead to More Happiness?"

Hill is a two-time TED main-stage speaker and was a recent presenter at Maui's TEDX, according to a news release. He will make the case for taking up less space, laying out some key principles for living a smaller, smarter life.

Hill founded the blog TreeHugger.com to help, as he says, "push sustainability into the mainstream" with a design-forward style.

He runs LifeEdited, which shows how to "design your life to include more money, health and happiness with less stuff, space and energy." He's written several books, including "Weekday Vegetarian" and "Ready, Set, Green."

The event is free and open to the public. For more information, call 984-3379.
