Tickets on sale for Valentine’s benefit

Hawaii Canines for Independence's 5th annual Valentine's Benefit Event and Auction will be held at Gannon's Restaurant in Wailea beginning at 5:30 p.m. Feb. 10.

The evening will feature gourmet cuisine from award-winning chef Bev Gannon. Kim Gennaula and Guy Hagi will be the emcees and there will be live jazz music throughout the evening. Tickets are $150 each.

There will also be live and silent auctions including fine jewelry, interisland packages and a private catered dinner for eight from chef Ralph Giles.

Hawaii Canines for Independence is a Maui-based charitable organization that has been serving children and adults with physical disabilities in Hawaii for the past 13 years by providing professionally trained assistance dogs and lifetime followup free of charge to people in need.
