Maila Yamashiro scored one goal and had three assists and Mary-Lynn Johannes scored twice as Maui High School defeated Lahainaluna 5-0 on Thursday in Lahaina in the final match of the Maui Interscholastic League girls soccer season.
Yamashiro assisted on goals by Johannes (fourth minute), Michelle Gima (13th) and Johannes (27th).
Shauni Okazaki scored in the 48th and Yamashiro scored in the 52nd.
The game was a make-up for a Jan. 5 match.
The Sabers (10-2-2), tied for second with King Kekaulike - Na Alii are going to the state tournament based on the head-to-head tiebreaker.
The Lunas finish 4-8-2.
