Briana Gapsis, daughter of Brian and Florence Gapsis of Kula, a graduating doctorate student from the University of Central Florida College of Medicine, was selected into an ophthalmology residency Jan. 15 in the first announced nationwide matches.
Gapsis was selected for Nassau University Medical Center in East Meadow, N.Y.
