Kamilah Martin became the 17th University of Hawaii women's basketball player to reach 1,000 career points in helping the Rainbow Wahine to a 71-63 road victory over UC Davis on Saturday.
Martin, a junior, scored 18 points, giving her 1,002 altogether - she is one of six players in school history to surpass 1,000 in three seasons. The UH career record is 2,479, by Judy Mosely from 1987 to 1990.
Ashleigh Karaitiana had 22 points and nine rebounds for the Rainbow Wahine (8-9, 4-2 Big West). Molokai High School graduate Kalei Adol-pho added five points and seven rebounds.
The Aggies (6-10, 1-4) got 26 points from Sydnee Fipps.
Hawaii will play at home against Cal Poly San Luis Obispo on Thursday.
