Hundreds of volunteers are being sought to assist with more than a half-dozen community service projects this month in honor of Martin Luther King Jr. Day on Monday.
Maui County is participating in this effort, a nationwide push to promote King's call for social justice by helping worthy causes in communities. The slogan for the effort is "A day on, not a day off!" as people all across the nation help others.
