Jinsei Miyashiro, of Kahului, died January 9, 2013, at Maui Memorial Medical Center.
Visitation will be at Nakamura Mortuary on Thursday, January 17, 2013, at 4:00pm, with services at 5:00pm.
Nakamura Mortuary is assisting with arrangements.
Mr. Miyashiro was born in Wailuku, HI on March 16, 1927. He was a retiree of Wailuku Sugar Company.
He leaves behind his loving wife of 53 years, Patricia Miyashiro, and is survived by his son Scott Miyashiro; daughters Wendy Miyashiro Wong, Lisa (Alvin) Battad, Gale Miyashiro; brothers Sozen Yogi, Jintoku (Iris) Miyashiro, Jinsuke (Janet) Miyashiro, Charles (Ulrika) Miyashiro; sister, Fumiko Uyehara; grandchildren Kimberly Wong and Alana Battad.
Jinsei loved bowling, farming the family land in Waikapu, and spending time with his grandchildren.
