Air Force Airman Jack R. Mora and Air Force Airman 1st Class Dexter M. Lopez have both graduated from basic military training at Lackland Air Force Base in San Antonio.

The airmen completed an eight-week program that included training in military discipline and studies, Air Force core values, physical fitness and basic warfare principles and skills.

Airmen who complete basic training earn four credits toward an associate degree in applied science through the Community College of the Air Force.

Mora is the son of Chris Mora and Robert Mora of Lahaina. He is a 2012 graduate of Lahainaluna High School.

Lopez is the son of Loreto and Clarita Lopez of Wailuku.

He is a 2007 graduate of Baldwin High School. He earned an associate degree in 2011 from Kapiolani Community College on Oahu.
