Making memories on Maui

New York City honeymooners Zachary and Satomi Collins take a self-portrait Sunday afternoon in Olowalu. The two said they were married in Honolulu on New Year’s Eve and visted the Big Island before coming to Maui. “We’re just kind of re-creating the moment, getting some more photos because Maui is so beautiful,” Zachary said. They couple planned to watch the sunset Sunday as a way of sharing the same Pacific sunset experienced by Satomi’s family in Japan.
