A high surf advisory for north and west facing shores of Molokai and for north facing shores of Maui remains in effect until noon Thursday.
A large northwest swell will continue to produce surf at advisory levels through midday Thursday along exposed north and west facing shores, the National Weather Service said.
Surf heights of 12 to 18 feet are expected along north facing shores and 8 to 12 feet along west facing shores.
Beach goers are urged to stay out of the water and away from the shore break due to large waves and dangerous rip currents.
